2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for PAM – Art Gilliland

Hi, folks. My name is Art Gilliland and I'm the CEO of Delinea. I'm excited to share that once again, we've been named as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management.

It's our 6th consecutive year in a row that we've won this award.

I think what's also exciting for us this year is that we were ranked highest in execution amongst all the other leaders in the quadrant. I think this is a real testament to our focus on you, our customers, and the real dedication of our team to deliver upon the expectations for you over and over again every day.

There were three areas of focus within the company. One is around the security of our systems and the focus on identity. If you think about identity security today, it really is the first line of defense. And so we as a company need to focus not only on your human users, but all of your non-human users, the systems that connect and talk to each other.

The second area of focus is around efficiency. We deploy in weeks, not months. We use about 90% less resources than our nearest competitor and with a guaranteed 99.99% of the time contractually guaranteed, I'm pretty confident we're the most reliable and available system out there for you today. And finally, our zeroed in on innovation.

We look focused on the cloud and the SAS technologies that you need to be able to manage passwords and the and your entitlements in the cloud.

We really zeroed in on threat detection and delivered a lot of capabilities around identity threat detection and then a lot of investment in governance, all of that natively integrated into the platform.
