Connection Manager Demo
Privileged session management provides oversight over privileged users to uncover suspicious or unauthorized behavior. But it can be complex and time-consuming. See how Connection Manager—our advanced remote connection management tool—provides one place to manage and interact with multiple sessions to keep admins productive and secure.
Privileged session management provides oversight over privileged users to uncover suspicious or unauthorized behavior. But it can be complex and time-consuming. Delinea’s Connection Manager is an advanced remote connection management tool providing one place to manage and interact with multiple sessions to keep admins productive and secure. Let’s take a look.
With Connection Manager users can launch and configure sessions across multiple environments without having to manage each separately. Connection Manager is tightly integrated with Secret Server. You can launch session call details for the environment from Secret Server on-demand and credentials are automatically injected into sessions as needed. Saved Secret Server connections are displayed in the left-hand navigation. You can also make “Local” connections to environments not managed by Secret Server. These connections can be saved and managed locally and as you see are listed separately.. Of course, all details are encrypted.
Standard RDP/SSH session controls are available. Sessions will open as a Tab and can be viewed this way, or expanded to Full Screen depending on your preference. You have the option to define screen size and resolution for each connection.
All of this is done through a single interface to manage and interact with sessions. Current sessions are viewed under “Active Connections” or you can select the session tab. Selecting a connection in the main window will display its details
Recent connections are saved
Search is available to look for your Secrets or connection names
Creating an end to end record of privileged user access is important for compliance mandates. With Connection Manager, you can record sessions when you see this indication by the secret configuration in Secret Server – You see it is indicated here in the UI whether or not the session will be recorded.
Tracking and Auditing:
You can record any access (launch/edit/view) of Secrets data and send that information to the Secret Server Audit logs. This provides an audit trail to prove compliance.
Connection Manager provides so much more than I can cover in a brief demo. If I’ve piqued your interest, and you would like to see for yourself, try it for free today. Thank you!
