Secret Server on the Delinea Platform Upgrade Program
Your upgrade to Secret Server on the Delinea Platform is now available! You will be able to complete this upgrade with no disruption to your vault while getting access to new capabilities and benefits. This page will provide information about the upgrade, how to complete the upgrade, the benefits of upgrading, and all the resources available to you to learn more and help with the upgrade, if needed.
About the Delinea Platform upgrade
What’s changing:
- A more robust, modernized experience for vault administrators
- Vault admins will access Secret Server on the Delinea Platform through a new URL
- Configuration and management of users, groups, permissions, and roles will shift from Secret Server Cloud to the Delinea Platform to consolidate identity management and improve efficiency and control
- Access to a new enhanced authentication service and many new features and capabilities available through the Delinea Platform
- Enhanced architecture with an industry-leading SLA of 99.995% uptime and zero downtime upgrades
What’s not changing:
- Your vault and all associated secrets and permissions will stay exactly where they are
- Vault users can keep the same familiar experience
- All your integrations remain configured
- All your customizations remain intact
- All historical data and audit trails remain visible
- You keep all functionality and features you currently have
- Sites and Distributed Engines will continue to function as-is
How the upgrade works
The upgrade steps are completed in the Platform Upgrade Center. The guided workflow makes this process simple and fast for most customers, who can complete the workflow in as few as 2 hours over 1-2 days, depending on your change management policies.
How to upgrade
Navigate to ‘Settings’ in your Secret Server Cloud UI and open the Platform Upgrade Center: The Platform Upgrade Center will guide you through the steps to upgrade to Secret Server on the Delinea Platform at no cost.
If you already have a Platform tenant, the Platform Upgrade Center will help you navigate through the remaining steps.
