As AI models grow more autonomous and capable, developer environments have become a sprawling web of human engineers, service accounts, CI/CD pipelines, and AI agents, each requesting access to sensitive systems, code repositories, and secrets at machine speed. Standing privileges, once a convenience, have become one of the largest attack surfaces in modern DevSecOps.

This session explores run-time authorization: the practice of granting access only at the moment it's needed, scoped to the specific task, and automatically revoked once the work is done. We'll break down why just-in-time (JIT) access is no longer optional in environments where non-human identities (NHIs) can now outnumber human ones by orders of magnitude, and where advanced AI agents can act with real autonomy.

Who should attend this webinar?

  • CISOs and Executive Leadership
  • CTOs
  • CIOs
  • Delinea Customers
  • Developers
  • Directors of Information Security
  • IT Security Professionals

  • StrongDM Customers

What will I learn?

  • Practical approaches to implementing just-in-time access across developer and AI workflows
  • How to eliminate standing privileges without slowing down engineering velocity
  • What "secure by default" looks like when every identity, human or machine, is a potential entry point

Get answers to these important questions:

  • What is run-time authorization, and how does it differ from traditional access controls?
  • Why are standing privileges such a major risk in today's dev and AI environments?
  • What role does automation play in granting and revoking access in real time?
  • What are the first steps to moving from standing privileges to a JIT access model for developers?
